Leadership Team
I started UMS in 1984 to address the limitations I noted with several BGAs in the area. I wanted to break new ground by offering Independence and back room support to individual agents who wanted to break away from traditional companies. My goal is to offer more competitive solutions for their clients instead of trying to use one company for all of their needs. Thus our Credo was born..."Be in business for yourself, not by yourself!"
I began my insurance career in 1965. Since then, I have served on various company Advisory Boards, as Secretary of the Delaware Association of Financial Planners, has held numerous board and committee positions for the local Life Underwriters Association, and am currently a Board member of the Burlington County College Foundation. I have been a CLTC for several years.

I have been in the insurance industry since 1979 working for two company home offices before joining UMS in 1995. As Vice-President, I oversee the operations of the office from sales and marketing to administration. Additionally, I oversee the day to day activities of the life department.
The most rewarding move I ever made in my career was to join UMS. I now have the ability to bring agents a solution in almost every situation. Having access to over 40 different companies completely expands the horizons on excellence and service.
I live in Newtown PA with my husband, son and two pups. Our grown daughter has given us our most cherished gift, our granddaughter, Sophia. The entire family likes to spend as much time as possible in our favorite place in the world, the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

I have been with UMS in some way since our inception over 30 years ago starting as a child stuffing envelopes at home. Beginning my full-time career here about 15 years ago, I started as the in-house Mortgage Loan Officer and am now a licensed insurance agent working in the Annuity Department with my background in marketing. As the Annuity Department Manager, I help our team get the message out to our agents about the best products, solutions and marketing plan for your business. I am a continuing education instructor and help educate our agents on topics such as Social Security and Fixed Index Annuities. I enjoy spending time with my husband and 4 children on the beach and at their various sports activities.

I have been with Underwriters Marketing Service since 1988. I am the Marketing Manager and am a member of the Advisory Board. I truly care about helping you with your business and providing different sales opportunities. My goal is to help you open up more sales! I can assist you with Marketing Strategies, customized Marketing pieces, Marketing tools you can use, training workshops, and niche markets.
I was married to my husband, Art for 57 years. I am a mother of 8 children, 21 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. We always enjoyed going on cruises, UMS Trips, and our favorite vacations were to the Jersey Shore with all of our children.

Having been with UMS since 1996, I view my role as helping agents feel comfortable offering the products in my area. From working with you to develop a marketing plan, finding the right product solution and benefit design for your client, pre-qualifying the health of a client, and conference calls with the client and agent, we are a true one stop resource. As the Director of UMS Forum, I oversee bringing continuing education to our producers on current topics that will help increase their sales. I am also serving as the current Vice-President of the South Jersey Chapter of the Society of Financial Professionals (FSP). My husband and I live in Mt. Laurel, and I am a very proud Aunt and an avid Eagles fan.
